Just read a great blog post (Less really can mean more by Dr. Molli Marti) about how she “unplugged” during the holidays, spent time with friends and family without thinking about work and the round it all up by working on her 2010 vision board.
Haven’t you also been in a situation where it seemed that the day-to-day chores and busy schedule you kept actually prevented you from moving forward in life?
And the more you worked the more you stood still?
If we don’t allow ourselves to take time out to steer our life in the direction we want, then we’ll end up in the wrong place – we’ll end up with the wrong spouse, the wrong house in the wrong location and the wrong job.
We only have one life to live, so why is it that so many of us don’t spend the necessary time on actually figuring out what we would like to get out of this life?
Some people seek assistance from a life coach and from other self improvement resources, but sometimes all we need is just a little uninterrupted time to ourselves.
We each have our own definition of success and sometimes it doesn’t take a large and complicated goal setting/getting system to make life changes; sometimes it’s enough to just decide what you wan’t to change.
But it all starts with you deciding to do it.
