Xtreme Fat Loss Diet – XFLD just had it’s first update.
First change is in the “Nutrient Timing and Two Types of Meals” section where the word “Protein” has been replace with the word “Fat” – and now the sentence makes sense.
The calculation of Maximum Heart Rate in “Day 2 – The Fast Day” has been changed from 200-Age to 220-Age. This was also changed in “High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and Cardio Guidelines”.
The ranges describing the caloric intake in section “Day 3 – The Shake Day” was modified from 14%-21% and 22% and above to 14%-19% and 20% and above. The same change was made in section “Day 4 – The Moderate Carbohydrate Day“.
The summary in “Day 3 – The Shake Day” was changed as well to match the recommendations given in “Shake Day Sample DailyTimeline” for how many of each type of shake to consume at what time of the day. The summary in “Day 4 – The Moderate Carbohydrate Day” was changed as well to match the “Moderate Carb Sample Daily Meal Timeline”.
The Fat and Protein intake calculations in “Moderate Carb Day” was changed slightly.
Meal carb target calculation was corrected in “Moderate Carb Day“.
The Training Manual just had minor typos corrected such as “Product” -> “Produce” and “not” -> “note” and have had a few missing words inserted. These were the proofreading errors that I mentioned in my Preliminary Xtreme Fat Loss Diet XFLD Review.
One nice change in the actual training part was changing “Bent Over Dumbbell” to “Bent Over Dumbell Row” ;-) – would have looked so weird in the gym trying to figure that one out ;-) – the weird name was caused by a page break in the wrong place that cut a table cell in two halves.
In the Cliffs Notes pdf file the summary in “Day 2 – The Fast Day” was changed from “.3 x LBM” to “.3 x Body Weight” in the BCAA calculation. The calculation matches the formula from the Diet Manual.
The shake type and amount summary from “Day 3 – The Shake Day” and “Day 4 – The Moderate Carbohydrate Day” has been carried over to the Cliffs Notes as well.
There’s a new version of the Success Journal in the revised edition of XFLD, but nothing changed except that Day 2 was called “Low GI/GL” in the original copy instead of “Fast Day” and “Higher GI/GL” was changed to “Moderate Carb Day” and “Depletion Day”. I guess the Success Journal kept the “working title” labels.
