Yesterday I started both the XFLD and TT contests.
My body fat scale said 22% body fat which is 2% higher than half a year ago, so following a fat loss diet and not just an exercise program is very much needed.
XFLD is with its extreme approach more rapid than healthy I think, but I have no problems following the program because it’s only for 5*5 days at a time.
I don’t if I think the best part about Xtreme Fat Loss Diet is the cheat day or the fast day – the cheat day where you eat ample amounts of your favorite foods is obviously one of the selling points of the diet, but I don’t really have any must-have high calorie foods that I long for.
So maybe it really is the day of fasting that I like the best.
There’s no real preparation needed (except for calculating your BCAA needs), no cooking, no shopping – just water and tea.
My BCAA’s haven’t arrived yet, so I’ll be going through at least the first fast day without any. I’m not worried though because I’ve worked out on fast days before without any problems. But will be interesting to see if the BCAA’s really does make a difference once they arrive.
The plan was to do Clash of the Titans, but I wasn’t near a gym yesterday, so I dug out some of the TT BW exercises instead and worked out at home.
