A few days ago a bunch of fitness/diet gurus/experts/authors put together a little give-away and I got my hands on alot of different downloads – and I’ll be looking at the contributions from Joel Marion today.
Joel who’s the 2001 Grand Champion in the Men Age 18-25 Body for Life Challenge made the following titles available:
- Rapid Fat Loss Training
- Fat Loss Secrets Exposed
- Illustrated Exercise Library
Rapid Fat Loss Training is a 4-day-per-week training program Joel created for one of his clients who in 8 weeks lost 27 lbs.
The program only talks about the actual training program so you’ll have to look elsewhere for a diet/meal plan to go with the training.
Fat Loss Secrets Exposed is the second part of the free give-away and it talks about some of the myths that’s circulating when it comes to fat loss.
I wouldn’t exactly call them myths or fat loss secrets because a lot of it is what I would call common sense and well known facts, but #3 “MIRROR YOUR METABOLISM” was new to me.
The best advice to take from it which foods you shouldn’t mix in one meal.
The Illustrated Exercise Library is actually the most valuable part of this give-away.
As someone just starting to read about weight training and bodybuilding I find too many programs to be complete jibberish because they throw around all these fancy names for all the different exercises, but never actually show, illustrate or instruct how to do each individual exercise.
The Illustrated Exercise Library shows all the different exercises so you actually know what the programs are talking about. Sure will come in handy the first times you visit a gym…
So, all in all a good read and I know I’ll be referring back to the Illustrated Exercise Library a lot.
