Personally I think this is a great method to become fit for almost no cost. There's a lot of TV-shows advising people to get all kind of weird equiment. Worth read entry.

Soy is not the only source of complete plant protein. There are many sources of complete plant proteins, such as, hempseed, flaxseed, quinoa, buckwheat, wild rice, oats, amaranth, spirulina, chlorella, even some fruits like avocado. Just to name a few. One can easily obtain all the protein they need without animal protein or soy.

Animal protein is superior to plant protein? Oh please. A completely plant based diet is the best thing you can do for your body. The benefits of consuming animal products do not outweight the negatives, anything you "need" from an animal can be found in a plant.

Hey Bethany,

TBD = To Be Determined

I haven't made up my mind yet about which TT workouts I want to do in the middle part of the competition.

I think I'll let the result of the first 25 days guide me.

If I've lost enough fat through following XFLD then I'll pick T workouts that works my abs - and if I still have some kilos to shed then I'll pick some of the full-body workouts instead.

What is TBD? I am familiar with the other abreviations. And this is my exact plan as well. Doing both competitions at the same time! Loving it!

Hey Penny,

I haven't seen anything specific about body fat percentage either in the manual yet.

The only reference I've seen is an email from Vince Del Monte where he says this:

" If you're like me and already pretty lean, I'm predicting you lose at least 5% fat in the next 25 days."

That's the closest I can come in terms of body fat %

But since body fat percentage is one of the variables you'll track in the Success Journal I'll at least have my own personal results to share in a few weeks time.

I'm curious about how body fat decreases. That's the whole basis of this diet, but there's little mention of it in a quantifiable measure. He talks about pounds lost averaging about 5 per week, but what is a reasonable expectation for where you end up at the end in terms of body fat %. That is what I'd like to know.
