Last week I ordered a book by Pavel Tsatsouline called The
Naked Warrior from Amazon.

Poor prioritizing on my part for the last decade has
gotten me overweight because of poor eating habits and I've
got neck and back pains due to lack of exercise and too
many hours in front of computers.
I used to enjoy running, but ever since I had problems
with my back, I could only run for a few hundred meters
before developing shooting pains in my neck and shoulders.
So reason number 1 for getting Pavels book is to develop
muscles and upper body strength *before* starting my
running practice.
