January 4th, 2010 by Henrik Flensborg

I just received an email from LearnOutLoud with their Monday Morning Motivation – this time it’s a free 2 hour mp3 download of The Science of Being Great by Wallace D. Wattles.

I’m downloading myself as I write this and will pop it into my mp3 players shortly.

There’s only a few more hours left of the 50% off of Turbulence Training from Craig Ballantyne, so if one of your New Year’s resolutions a few hours ago was to get fit and healthy in 2010 and drop those dangerous extra kilo, then now is the time to take action.

Getting Craig’s training programs really is a no-brainer if you’re looking for a workout program that keep changing every month and has a forum attached to it where you can go to get answers to all your questions as well keep yourself accountable by keeping a fitness journal there.

And if you’re really looking for something extra to keep you accountable, then you have until January 15 to join the 7th Turbulence Training Transformation Contest – having your before pictures posted and the forum community to back you up is a great way to stay dedicated for the first 12 weeks.

Right now there’s the option of getting TT at 50% discount

Tomorrow this will be gone, but there’s still the Trial offer which is the option I sprung for when I first joined TT.

Oh, and if you’re looking for even more accountability then grab hold of me and let’s go through TTTC#7 together.

Do you also need to lose 10 kilo?

December 29th, 2009 by Henrik Flensborg

I managed, as you might already know, to lose 20 kilo during the first 8 months of 2009 through a change in diet and by starting to exercise.

Part of the exercise I did was following Craig Ballantyne’s Turbulence Training workout programs and participating in his Turbulence Training Transformation Contest #5

During that competition I went through quite a transformation.

Not only did I lose a lot of weight, but I also became a lot stronger.

I went from having back and neck pains to being completely free of them.

I went from from somebody with his belly sticking out to someone who were given compliments on his looks – at the ripe age of 40 ;-)

After the competition ended I kinda slipped back into my old habits – helped along by a running injury and a remodelling of my gym.

So status quo near the end of 2009 is that I’m still 10 kilo shy of my goal weight.

Well, luck has it that all these things align just right

  1. Injury almost completely gone now
  2. Gym should reopen after New Year’s Eve
  3. Craig Ballantyne is running yet another transformation contest – number 7 RIGHT NOW

So come January 1st I’ll get right back on track with a new set of before pictures and a detailed 12-week plan for getting rid of the last and most stubborn 10 kilo of extra weight.

I know that these last 10 kilo will be the toughest 10 kilo ever, but I’m confident that I’ll make it.

The first time I joined the competitionI had a hard time finding pictures of men that had the physique I was aiming for – either I found pictures of bulked up bodybuilders or pictures of what definitely looked like gay underwear models.

But this time I’ve found myself a rolemodel – not only because of his looks, but because of how fast he achieved it.

It’s no other than the winner of the 6th Turbulence Training Transformation Contest Dave Suvak.

300

Dave does truely look like something taken straight out of 300 – and at age 48 that’s quite an achievement.

But how about you?

Do you also still need to get rid of those last 10 kilo – or do you need to lose the first 10 kilo?

Listen to your body

December 17th, 2009 by Henrik Flensborg

Kat from BodyIncredible.com just wrote a blog post about listening to your body that is well worth a read.

Focus Not

Honestly, when was the last time you focused – I mean REALLY focused on the task at hand?

Follow Kat’s example and put complete focus to your next training session, your next class, your next run or whatever task you feel like adding some quality to.

Live your life by purpose and with direction or you’ll end up going through life with everything in a blur.

Vote for your favorite body – hot chicks and buff dudes ahead

December 16th, 2009 by Henrik Flensborg

Turbulence TrainingIt’s time once again to cast your vote for the Turbulence Training Transformation Contest finalists.

This is the 6th 12-week transformation contest that Craig Ballantyne has arranged.

I’ve got two recommendations for you that I want you to do right now.

First I think you should go and look at the before and after photos of the Male, Female and Advanced finalists – and read their essays as well.

The visual transformation as stunning as it is really pales in comparison to the personal transformations that these finalists have gone through during the 12 weeks of the competition.

Next I want you to cast your vote – all the finalists (and those who wasn’t picked as finalists) have put alot of work into getting to where they are now, and they really deserve to have lots of votes cast on them.

Thirdly I want you to consider signing up to become a Turbulence Training member yourself if you A) is overweight, B) want to lose weight and C) wouldn’t mind strengthening and toning your body in the process.

I fully stand behind my recommendation of Turbulence Training as a very effective and varied workout program.

In the 5th transformation contest I myself was a finalist, so I know first hand how effective Craigs programs was for me.

So, go check out the finalists, cast your vote and think about making a commitment to let 2010 be the year when you got back into shape and lost those dangerous extra kilo and pounds.
