I’m tempted to buy No-Nonsense Muscle Building

February 19th, 2009 by Henrik Flensborg

I’ve never been one to pursue a body builder figure, but this past week I’ve been doing a lot of reading, listening and watching to Vince DelMonte and his No-Nonsense Muscle Building and Your Six-Pack Quest.

And I’m more and more tempted to buy the No-Nonsense Muscle Building program (or package rather since there’s a truckload of additional bonus materials).

I’ve lost 13 kilo since just after X-mas when I started riding my mountainbike (including my first Master Cleanse Diet) and this week the whole family have begun eating a lot healthier than what we used to do.

My stomach is visibly smaller and my jeans have a “loose fit” now, but I’m feeling there’s something missing.

It seems to me to be a shame to not go all the way and make sure that not only will I get to 80 kilo, eat healthier and have exercise as an integrated part of my life, but also to transform my body physically not only to what it looked like when I was a teenager, but even better.

Maybe it’s a mid-life crisis, but there’s something appealing about sculpting my body at the age of 40 that I’ve never felt before.

A few days ago I sent Vince an email because I wanted to know his take on mixing his muscle building program with my own mountainbike training – would one suffer, would they both suffer of would it actually be beneficial to integrate the two. Yesterday I got a reply back assuring me that it was possible and on how to integrate the two.

One great thing about starting lifting weights is that my new job where I started this January have its own fitness center 2 minutes from my office – so I don’t have to invest in a lof of body building equipment or spend time getting to and from the gym.

Two challenges stand between me and a much more sculpted me – do I have what it takes to follow such a program and will I be able to convince my wife that it’s a good idea.

It’s no good if I think it’s a brilliant idea to become really attractive looking but my wife think it’s a load of bull and that she would rather spend that extra hour together with me in the mornings.

So, until I get my hands on Vince’s program I’ll just have to settle with all the neat free stuff I can get from his sites – and he’s got quite a good selection.

Master Cleanse results after 8 days

February 7th, 2009 by Henrik Flensborg

The preliminary results of my first ever Master Cleanse are in:

Weightloss: 6.1 Kilo

Skin: Very noticable improvement of my Psoriasis

Energy: Great – I’m not experiencing the energy ups and down I used to – I’m constantly up

Sleep: Never had sleeping problems before, but now I’m not tired when I wake up in the morning

Socially: Down – it doesn’t really help on your integration when you stay behind in the office for a week when the rest of the team goes out for lunch in a company you just started working in.

So overall I’m exstatic about the results.

Could I have cleaned out more garbage and lost more weight?

Sure I could, but I wanted to use the weekend to transition into normal food rather than do it on Monday and risk running into complications. It *is* my first cleanse so I really have no idea if I will have a smooth transition to solid food.

Today I’ve started the post-cleanse part which for today is made up of watered down orange juice.

I also took some Probiotics to reintroduce some of the good bacteria to my stomach which were lost during the cleanse.

The Probiotic I took contained the following:

Lactobacillus casei F19

Lactobacillus acidophilus LA-5

Bifidobacterium BB-12

Not sure if these are the best or most appropriate bacteria or if I’m missing some vital probiotics, but it’s a start I guess.

Master Cleanse and my Psoriasis

February 6th, 2009 by Henrik Flensborg

A very nice thing has happened during my first Master Cleanse – my Psoriasis is significantly reduced.

I don’t have very large areas affected by Psoriasis – and compared to alot of people with Psoriasis I have a mild form.

The top of my head has gone from very itchy, thick scaling to just a slightly elevated red patch with no itching at all.

The two spots on my knee that were very flaky is now significantly less flaky – bordering on not being flaky at all. And they have gone from think white patches to thin red patches.

The sides of my head just above the ears have improved alot as well and I no longer have those irritating “scalp-headaches” you get when the scalp looses its flexibility.

I knew that some people who have been doing this detox have reported flare ups of their acne so I didn’t really know what to expect the lemonade would do to my Psoriasis – but I’m very pleased with the results so far.

Alot of the ppl advocating the Master Cleanse Diet talks about the detox and cleansing that takes place and they talk about it not only affecting your intestines but also other organs.

In my naivity or maybe even disbelief I didn’t really expect to gain anything else from the detox than loosing weight, making my intestines healthier and making my stomach more receptable to nutrients.

But to experience my skin – a very large organ – improve this much is awesome.

Oh, and btw – I’m down to 98.0 kilo this morning :-)
