A possibly stressful Christmas has passed, a new year has started and one of your New Year’s resolution was probably to spend some more ME-time.

You know, just focusing on yourself, your health, your needs, your desires.

Figure out what you *want* to do and put what you *need* to do aside.

Take some time out to decide what you want to do for yourself this year.

Maybe you need a good massage. If you can’t get your spouse to do it, then go schedule a few sessions with a local massage therapist.

Maybe you want to take Yoga classes. Gather a few of your best girlfriends and maybe go have a cup of coffee after class.

Maybe a trip to the Sauna after a good swim is more your thing.

Or maybe you could benefit from replacing some of your coffee with herbal tea.

Make a decision about replacing foods that are not good for your health with some that are.

Could be that you just need to set aside 15 minutes each day that are yours alone.

Or how about planning a good relaxing vacation somewhere?

Go see a musical or a theater play.

Take up some forgotten hobbies of yours.

Set aside time this week to think about what you could do to make your life more fulfilling.

Call an old friend and ask him over for dinner so you can become all nostalgic and talk about “the good old days”.

Whatever you do just make sure that you make 2010 the best year ever – for you.
